Terms of Use

The terms for using the Worktr app, the CLI, your account and the Desktop Lifetime license.

Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of Worktr, including the macOS application, the worktr command-line tool, the website and your Worktr account, provided by Didaska (DIDASKA LTDA, CNPJ 66.904.784/0001-90, Rua Visconde do Rio Branco, 1488, Conjunto 909, 9th floor, Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil) (“Didaska”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, buying a license or using Worktr, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Your account

You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity under your account and must keep access to your Apple ID secure. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, to buy a license.

License

When you buy Desktop Lifetime, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Worktr on the Macs you sign in to with your account, for personal or commercial work.
The license includes the Worktr CLI and future updates of the macOS app. The iPhone app and sync are announced as coming soon and will be included for Desktop Lifetime owners when they are released; we do not promise a release date.
You may not resell, share or sublicense your license, or let others use your account.

Purchases, taxes and refunds

Prices are shown on our website and at checkout, in US dollars or Brazilian reais depending on your location. Payments are processed by Stripe; taxes may apply. Desktop Lifetime is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. If Worktr does not work for you, email worktreapp@gmail.com within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. This does not limit any withdrawal or consumer rights you have under the law of your country. A refunded or charged-back purchase deactivates the license.

Third-party tools and services

Worktr runs open-source scanners such as Gitleaks, Trivy, OSV-Scanner, Semgrep and Checkov, each under its own license. Worktr AI uses your own Anthropic API key and is subject to Anthropic’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party tools or services, their availability or their results.

No security guarantee

Worktr helps you find potential issues, but it does not guarantee that your code, dependencies or infrastructure are secure or free of vulnerabilities. Scanners can miss issues and report false positives. You remain responsible for reviewing findings and for your own software, decisions and compliance.

Acceptable use

Use Worktr only on code and systems you own or are authorized to analyze.
Do not bypass, disable or tamper with license checks, or reverse engineer Worktr except where the law allows it.
Do not use Worktr to attack, disrupt or gain unauthorized access to any system, or in violation of any law.

Intellectual property

Worktr, its software, design and brand belong to Didaska. These Terms do not give you any rights to them other than the license above. You keep all rights to your code and data. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

Disclaimer

Worktr is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Didaska is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or business. Our total liability for any claim related to Worktr is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer protection law.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Worktr and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice when reasonable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes

We may update Worktr and these Terms. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use Worktr after that means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections and courts of your country of residence.
